Martha is spot on as well. Compassionate, and very very human.
And the best Who makes you react - makes you think, makes you feel something.
And this does just that. You get enveloped in the society. You agree with the Doctor. You fear for Martha. You feel sad along with her as she explores the Museum/Gallery. You cheer with the crowd when the Doctor saves the day and tells them about Grayla.
